On a quest for something other than fire

Fire Good

I’m on a quest for something greater than fire. I want to understand more. I’m not satisfied with ‘cuz anymore. I’m a grown woman who feels like a little girl. I’m in utter amazement at what goes on in the world. Things that are acceptable and things that are not acceptable. Talk about a rabbit hole. I totally get C. S. Lewis. He was not on crack. He just lived in reality.

When I get too freaked out, this song and video always makes me feel better.

  2. Great blog! Love the video above! I’ve always wanted to create one of those things..what do you call them, lol? Brain’s gone blank. I just don’t think I have the patience when it messes up!

Thank you for subscribing to my blog!

    • Thanks. It’s a Rube Goldberg contraption. I know it looks so cool but I I don’t have the patience. Your welcome. I like the subject of your blog and the design is very well done as well.

  3. Ahh, yes Fire. Fire is good, isn’t it? Cooks our food, provides heat, and much more.
It is indeed good, as long as you keep it under control that is.

Now…. as for the Blog, your is somehow… of a different flavor. I look forward to being acquainted with it. So, by all means, muse on. Muse on.

    • Hey,
How are you? I really don’t think I have that many readers. Basically, what I do is seek out other blogs that interest me and comment and sort of develop friendships with them through commenting. Also, I will subscribe to anyone’s blog that interests me and I will usually subscribe to those blogs who subscribe to mine. I average about thirty views a day and I have 21 subscribers. I just post what I feel like posting. My last post is whacked and I think I scared people away. šŸ™‚

  4. I read your poetry and prose. I love many of the lines in your poetry. For example, in ‘unfolding’:

    Oh, how it unfolds!
A mystery unraveling before our bloody eyes
Full of distortion and reality all at the exact same time

  5. I hope everything’s going well!

And I wanted to say thanks. Iā€™m thanking all of you whose feedback I respect for a new milestone. For October 8th I hit a new Single- Day high for hits at 12,577. This replaces my previous Single- Day high of 2,336 on a day in early January of this year.

So thank you for reading and for offering feedback that helps me attract readers.

    • Things are a bit better, thanks for asking. You’re welcome and thanks for writing! Wow that’s a crazy amount of hits. Forget about a day that’s seems pretty good for a week, a month maybe even a year. Congratulations!

  6. You have an interesting Tag and Space so I will be
calling back soon to have a good look around, maybe
even offer a few thoughts as I turn the pages of your
    previously offered postings šŸ™‚

  7. I’m curious, where did you come up with “Unga Bunga” of all things to say? I only ask because a buddy of mine gave me the nickname at work about 18 months ago and I never understood the reference, only accepted it as an indirect way of calling me a cave man…

  9. Hi Cactus Cathy! You guys’ Sagas are being rerun at my blog with Frontierado coming up on August 3rd, so you’ll probably be getting some hits from it!

If you’re kind enough I would really love it if you would help spread the Frontierado word by reblogging this year’s look at Cool-Named Real-Life Gunslingers since I’m too swamped to do any new Sagas.

The article covers people like Bear River Tom and Poker Alice – http://glitternight.com/2012/07/15/four-forgotten-gunslingers-with-cool-nicknames-2/
