Love in the Void

It’s so cold as my arms hug my core.
Spaced in vastness, I linger in the darkness.
There is no one.
I’m all alone.

Love in the void.
Love in the void.

I’m blind to all and no one sees me.
If I cry, my tears will dry on my face and hands.
When does night fall?
I can never tell.

Love in the void.
Love in the void.

I’ve no one ‘cept myself.
A substitute for another.
I hold myself again and wonder
At the very least.

Love in the void.
Love in the void.

inspirations: thinking about the earth spinning around in the cosmos and what if I were detached from earth hurtling through space and all I had was myself.
